Islam is true Peace
The Aim of Islam is to Restore the Lost Paradise (Peace):
Islam is not defined by what Muslims are doing or have done in the past anywhere on earth, except for the actions of Muhammad (peace be upon him) and his companions. Islam is also not solely what is written in books other than the Almighty Quran because this information has been collected and written by humans and may contain errors. The only book that is directly from Allah and has no chance of error is the Noble Quran. The Noble Quran is the root, base, and stem of Islam. Therefore, we must first concentrate on the Quran and try to understand its message. Once we have understood Islam through the Quran, we can then analyze the actions of Muslims and the information about Islam in other books. The Holy Quran is the Criterion, the touchstone, and the ultimate standard. Naturally, these other sources are valuable aids in understanding, but when there is a conflict of information, the Holy Quran takes precedence.
The Holy Quran states that mankind was initially in a state of paradise, living in peace, in a heavenly condition . Then something transformative occurred: humanity was inspired with higher consciousness “وَنَفَخَ فِيهِ مِن رُّوحِهِۦۖ“, “He inspired him with his Commanding Power”. However, this was not the cause of the loss of paradise. Instead, they violated a well-established societal law—an important principle of communal living—The mating principle given by Allah—and lost their paradise.
Then Allah sent His messengers to help humanity to regain lost paradise, but now through their own understanding, wisdom, and free will, as they have been blessed with higher consciousness, intelligence and a Will. One of the aims of all prophets, including Muhammad (peace be upon him), is to reestablish this lost state of peace.
Rules of Islam as described by Allah is the way to restore peace once again.
In truth, all other religions, as originally revealed through prophets, had the same purpose. Unfortunately, they were altered by humans and, in doing so, lost their original purpose.
Mankind was one community then they differed and divided:
(sūrat yūnus)Verse (10:19): وَمَا كَانَ ٱلنَّاسُ إِلَّآ أُمَّةً۬ وَٲحِدَةً۬ فَٱخۡتَلَفُواْۚ
Sahih International: And mankind was not but one community [united in religion], but [then] they differed.
Allah sent prophets to eliminate differences between them to regain lost Paradise:
(sūrat l-baqarah)Verse (2:213):
كَانَ ٱلنَّاسُ أُمَّةً۬ وَٲحِدَةً۬ فَبَعَثَ ٱللَّهُ ٱلنَّبِيِّـۧنَ مُبَشِّرِينَ وَمُنذِرِينَ وَأَنزَلَ مَعَهُمُ ٱلۡكِتَـٰبَ بِٱلۡحَقِّ لِيَحۡكُمَ بَيۡنَ ٱلنَّاسِ فِيمَا ٱخۡتَلَفُواْ فِيهِۚ
Sahih International: Mankind was [of] one religion [before their deviation]; then Allah sent the prophets as bringers of good tidings and warners and sent down with them the Scripture in truth to judge between the people concerning that in which they differed.
The Value of Human Life in Islam:
The Quran establishes a golden law for humanity:
“Whoever kills a human being unjustly, it is as if they have killed all of humanity. And whoever saves the life of a human being, it is as if they have saved all of humanity.”
When this standard of honor for human life is universally upheld, humanity can truly claim to be real civilised.
(sūrat l-māidah)Verse (5:32): مَن قَتَلَ نَفۡسَۢا بِغَيۡرِ نَفۡسٍ أَوۡ فَسَادٍ۬ فِى ٱلۡأَرۡضِ فَڪَأَنَّمَا قَتَلَ ٱلنَّاسَ جَمِيعً۬ا وَمَنۡ أَحۡيَاهَا فَڪَأَنَّمَآ أَحۡيَا ٱلنَّاسَ جَمِيعً۬اۚ
Sahih International: whoever kills a soul unless for a soul or for corruption [done] in the land – it is as if he had slain mankind entirely. And whoever saves one – it is as if he had saved mankind entirely.
Every Human being is born with great Honor:
(sūrat l-isrā)Verse (17:70: وَلَقَدْ كَرَّمْنَا بَنِي آدَمَ
Sahih International: And We have certainly honored the children of Adam.
He can not be make responsible for the sins of his ancestors or Adam and Eve. he is by birth clean from any sin and is a honorable human being.
Murder and Allah`s extreme wrath shows value of Humen life by Allah:
Allah’s extreme wrath, 5 punishments once together for murder with intent, nowhere else in Quran such a punishments.
Allah’s extreme wrath is evident, as five punishments are decreed simultaneously for intentional murder—nowhere else in the Quran are such combined punishments mentioned.
(sūrat l-nisāa) Verse (4:93): وَمَن يَقۡتُلۡ مُؤۡمِنً۬ا مُّتَعَمِّدً۬ا فَجَزَآؤُهُ ۥ جَهَنَّمُ خَـٰلِدً۬ا فِيہَا وَغَضِبَ ٱللَّهُ عَلَيۡهِ وَلَعَنَهُ ۥ وَأَعَدَّ لَهُ ۥ عَذَابًا عَظِيمً۬ا
Sahih International: But whoever kills a believer intentionally – his recompense is Hell, wherein he will abide eternally, and Allah has become angry with him and has cursed him and has prepared for him a great punishment.
Incitement is worst than murder:
(sūrat l-baqarah)Verse (2:191): ٱلۡفِتۡنَةُ أَشَدُّ مِنَ ٱلۡقَتۡلِۚ
Sahih International: fitnah is worse than killing.
“While it can take many human lives, it is a mass murder.”
The enmity and hatred of your enemy should not prevent you from doing justice:
(sūrat l-māidah)Verse (5:8): يَـٰٓأَيُّہَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ كُونُواْ قَوَّٲمِينَ لِلَّهِ شُہَدَآءَ بِٱلۡقِسۡطِۖ وَلَا يَجۡرِمَنَّڪُمۡ شَنَـَٔانُ قَوۡمٍ عَلَىٰٓ أَلَّا تَعۡدِلُواْۚ ٱعۡدِلُواْ هُوَ أَقۡرَبُ لِلتَّقۡوَىٰۖ وَٱتَّقُواْ ٱللَّهَۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ خَبِيرُۢ بِمَا تَعۡمَلُونَ
Sahih International: O you who have believed, be persistently standing firm for Allah , witnesses in justice, and do not let the hatred of a people prevent you from being just. Be just; that is nearer to righteousness. And fear Allah ; indeed, Allah is Acquainted with what you do.
Justice must be done no matter how bitter your enemy is.
Never a Coercion or Violence in matters of Religion. It must be decided with one’s own Free Will:
(sūrat l-kahf)Verse (18:29): وَقُلِ ٱلۡحَقُّ مِن رَّبِّكُمۡۖ فَمَن شَآءَ فَلۡيُؤۡمِن وَمَن شَآءَ فَلۡيَكۡفُرۡۚ
Sahih International: And say, “The truth is from your Lord, so whoever wills – let him believe; and whoever wills – let him disbelieve.”
Spreading Islam with Sward is not Islam. It is not Allah’s will:
(sūrat yūnus)Verse (10:99-100): وَلَوۡ شَآءَ رَبُّكَ لَأَمَنَ مَن فِى ٱلۡأَرۡضِ ڪُلُّهُمۡ جَمِيعًاۚ أَفَأَنتَ تُكۡرِهُ ٱلنَّاسَ حَتَّىٰ يَكُونُواْ مُؤۡمِنِينَ
Sahih International: And had your Lord willed, those on earth would have believed – all of them entirely. Then, [O Muhammad], would you compel the people in order that they become believers?
if Allah will, then all people would be believers without sward. so no coercion in matters of religion it must be decided with one’s own free will.
Islam Allows to Fight Hard against the Attacker to Prevent Aggression
Unfortunately, most people have been killed by followers of a religion that teaches if someone strikes you on one cheek, you should offer the other. While this teaching sounds very noble and admirable, unfortunately, it does not reflect reality. There are situations where you must confront and subdue an aggressor to stop them. I have great respect for this religion, but I find this specific teaching unrealistic.
The combined death toll of the two World Wars is estimated at 85–108 million people. These figures include both direct and indirect deaths caused by the wars.
Jihad in the Quran
(more accurately “Qital”) is permitted in the following cases:
- Defense of an Islamic State: When an Islamic state is under attack.
- Suppressing Rebellion: To quell a rebellion within an Islamic state.
- Rescuing the Oppressed: When the people of a land are oppressed by an unjust and brutal regime, regardless of whether they are Muslim or non-Muslim, and they cry out to Allah (or God) for help to be saved from oppression and cruelty.
Rules in Almighty Quran must be obeyed in Jihad
During “Jihad,” strict obligations must be followed:
- Never raise a sword against the elderly, children, women, or the weak.
- Never destroy trees, cultivated fields, or livestock, except strategic purpose.
- Fight only those who fight against you. If an enemy soldier lays down his weapon, you must stop fighting with them.
- Do not harm soldiers who retreat or flee.
- All prisoners of war must be released soon, either for a ransom (if they can afford it) or without any payment.
- All war spoils are to be handed over to the state.
Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) and his companions adhered to the Quran as guaranteed by the Holy Quran. Any other stories or claims about them that contradict with Almighty Quran are fabricated and false accusations against them.
A false call to jihad is not jihad, but collective murder and will be punished, very severely by Allah.
All evidence is derived from the Quran.
Enemy kindled the fire of war and Allah extinguished it
(sūrat l-māidah)Verse (5:64): أَوۡقَدُواْ نَارً۬ا لِّلۡحَرۡبِ أَطۡفَأَهَا ٱللَّهُۚ وَيَسۡعَوۡنَ فِى ٱلۡأَرۡضِ فَسَادً۬اۚ وَٱللَّهُ لَا يُحِبُّ ٱلۡمُفۡسِدِينَ
Sahih International: Every time they kindled the fire of war [against you], Allah extinguished it. And they strive throughout the land [causing] corruption, and Allah does not like corrupters.
First time Jihad Permission against Aggressive Attackers
(sūrat l-ḥaj)Verse (22:39-40):
أُذِنَ لِلَّذِينَ يُقَـٰتَلُونَ بِأَنَّهُمۡ ظُلِمُواْۚ وَإِنَّ ٱللَّهَ عَلَىٰ نَصۡرِهِمۡ لَقَدِيرٌ (٣٩) ٱلَّذِينَ أُخۡرِجُواْ مِن دِيَـٰرِهِم بِغَيۡرِ حَقٍّ إِلَّآ أَن يَقُولُواْ رَبُّنَا ٱللَّهُۗ
Sahih International: Permission [to fight] has been given to those who are being fought, because they were wronged. And indeed, Allah is competent to give them victory. [They are] those who have been evicted from their homes without right – only because they say, “Our Lord is Allah.”
Muslim soldier for the protection of monasteries, churches, synagogues, and mosques preventing their destruction because these are places where mostly Allah`s name is mentioned:
(sūrat l-ḥaj)Verse (22:40): أُوَلَوۡلَا دَفۡعُ ٱللَّهِ ٱلنَّاسَ بَعۡضَہُم بِبَعۡضٍ۬ لَّهُدِّمَتۡ صَوَٲمِعُ وَبِيَعٌ۬ وَصَلَوَٲتٌ۬ وَمَسَـٰجِدُ يُذۡڪَرُ فِيہَا ٱسۡمُ ٱللَّهِ ڪَثِيرً۬اۗ وَلَيَنصُرَنَّ ٱللَّهُ مَن يَنصُرُهُ ۥۤۗ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَقَوِىٌّ عَزِيزٌ
Sahih International: And were it not that Allah checks the people, some by means of others, there would have been demolished monasteries, churches, synagogues, and mosques in which the name of Allah is much mentioned. And Allah will surely support those who support Him. Indeed, Allah is Powerful and Exalted in Might.
Mosques coming at number 4! amazing? and this religion is said to be aggressive towards other religions!
Allah Name in Monasteries, Churches and Synagogues?
Allah doesn’t say “where they worship their God” but where they mention Allah’s name.
Allah also knows that many things (even shirk, the greatest sin in eyes of Allah) are done in monasteries and churches which are against teaching of Islam, Allah also wishes that they should not do that. but strange Allah wants that Muslim should protect these places, that could be on behalf of their lives.
why is it like that? because Islam is Religion of true Peace and free opinion and because
لَآ إِكۡرَاهَ فِى ٱلدِّينِۖ “There shall be no compulsion in the religion.” is base rule of Islam.
Again, Jihad Permission Against Attackers:
(sūrat l-baqarah)Verse (2:190): وَقَـٰتِلُواْ فِى سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلَّذِينَ يُقَـٰتِلُونَكُمۡ وَلَا تَعۡتَدُوٓاْۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَا يُحِبُّ ٱلۡمُعۡتَدِينَ (١٩٠) وَٱقۡتُلُوهُمۡ حَيۡثُ ثَقِفۡتُمُوهُمۡ وَأَخۡرِجُوهُم مِّنۡ حَيۡثُ أَخۡرَجُوكُمۡۚ وَٱلۡفِتۡنَةُ أَشَدُّ مِنَ ٱلۡقَتۡلِۚ وَلَا تُقَـٰتِلُوهُمۡ عِندَ ٱلۡمَسۡجِدِ ٱلۡحَرَامِ حَتَّىٰ يُقَـٰتِلُوكُمۡ فِيهِۖ فَإِن قَـٰتَلُوكُمۡ فَٱقۡتُلُوهُمۡۗ كَذَٲلِكَ جَزَآءُ ٱلۡكَـٰفِرِينَ (١٩١) فَإِنِ ٱنتَہَوۡاْ فَإِنَّ ٱللَّهَ غَفُورٌ۬ رَّحِيمٌ۬ (١٩٢) وَقَـٰتِلُوهُمۡ حَتَّىٰ لَا تَكُونَ فِتۡنَةٌ۬ وَيَكُونَ ٱلدِّينُ لِلَّهِۖ فَإِنِ ٱنتَہَوۡاْ فَلَا عُدۡوَٲنَ إِلَّا عَلَى ٱلظَّـٰلِمِينَ
Sahih International: Fight in the way of Allah those who fight you but do not transgress. Indeed. Allah does not like transgressors.And kill them wherever you overtake them and expel them from wherever they have expelled you, and fitnah is worse than killing. And do not fight them at al-Masjid al- îaram until they fight you there. But if they fight you, then kill them. Such is the recompense of the disbelievers.And if they cease, then indeed, Allah is Forgiving and Merciful. Fight them until there is no [more] fitnah and [until] worship is [acknowledged to be] for Allah. But if they cease, then there is to be no aggression except against the oppressors.
Fight them who fight with you, Fight hard, punish them accordingly but (always obey this Rule) if they cease then stop. Because fighting is “إِلَّا عَلَى ٱلظَّـٰلِمِينَ“only for the aggressor, (attacker).
fight as long as the “فِتۡنَةٌ۬ ” “incitement to war” or rebellion is eliminated and “وَيَكُونَ ٱلدِّينُ لِلَّهِۖ” Allah´s law is restored again.
Many Islam critics mean this “وَيَكُونَ ٱلدِّينُ لِلَّهِۖ” means fight until Islam rules in the whole world. Firstly it contradicts many Ayah in Quran which clearly command not to use violence in matter religion. And secondly if that were the case then Mohammad peace be upon him would not have achieved his goal as the Quran confirms that Mohammad has fully finished his job regarding Islam in his life.
Jihad to Help Oppressed People (may be non Muslim)
(sūrat l-nisāa)Verse (4:75): وَمَا لَكُمۡ لَا تُقَـٰتِلُونَ فِى سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ وَٱلۡمُسۡتَضۡعَفِينَ مِنَ ٱلرِّجَالِ وَٱلنِّسَآءِ وَٱلۡوِلۡدَٲنِ ٱلَّذِينَ يَقُولُونَ رَبَّنَآ أَخۡرِجۡنَا مِنۡ هَـٰذِهِ ٱلۡقَرۡيَةِ ٱلظَّالِمِ أَهۡلُهَا وَٱجۡعَل لَّنَا مِن لَّدُنكَ وَلِيًّ۬ا وَٱجۡعَل لَّنَا مِن لَّدُنكَ نَصِيرًا
Sahih International: And what is [the matter] with you that you fight not in the cause of Allah and [for] the oppressed among men, women, and children who say, “Our Lord, take us out of this city of oppressive people and appoint for us from Yourself a protector and appoint for us from Yourself a helper?”
Purpose of Jihad, Allah`s Claim “The War will lay down its Weapons“
Fight real hard until aggressor led down his sword. Have control over them but then show your mercy. This will let opponents think that his opponent is far more stronger, but he had taken no revenge where we killed many of them, as common in wars. And they will lets all us free with surety, (because they know it is command of Holy Quran to let all prisoners of war free with or without ransom) This will eliminate enmity between you and will cause that the “the war will let down its weapons”.
it is not some unique situation in Jihad but it is Quranic rules of Jihad forever. In all situations the trigger to end fight, (Jihad) lays always in enemy’s hand soon he led down his sword the fight will be ended. Quranic command is “fight with those who fight with you”.
(sūrat muḥammad)Verse (47:4): فَإِذَا لَقِيتُمُ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ فَضَرۡبَ ٱلرِّقَابِ حَتَّىٰٓ إِذَآ أَثۡخَنتُمُوهُمۡ فَشُدُّواْ ٱلۡوَثَاقَ فَإِمَّا مَنَّۢا بَعۡدُ وَإِمَّا فِدَآءً حَتَّىٰ تَضَعَ ٱلۡحَرۡبُ أَوۡزَارَهَاۚ ذَٲلِكَ وَلَوۡ يَشَآءُ ٱللَّهُ لَٱنتَصَرَ مِنۡہُمۡ وَلَـٰكِن لِّيَبۡلُوَاْ بَعۡضَڪُم بِبَعۡضٍ۬ۗ وَٱلَّذِينَ قُتِلُواْ فِى سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ فَلَن يُضِلَّ أَعۡمَـٰلَهُمۡ (٤) سَيَہۡدِيہِمۡ وَيُصۡلِحُ بَالَهُمۡ
Sahih International: So when you meet those who disbelieve [in battle], strike [their] necks until, when you have inflicted slaughter upon them, then secure their bonds, and either [confer] favor afterwards or ransom [them] until the war lays down its burdens. That [is the command]. And if Allah had willed, He could have taken vengeance upon them [Himself], but [He ordered armed struggle] to test some of you by means of others. And those who are killed in the cause of Allah – never will He waste their deeds
“So when you meet those who disbelieve” (it never mean common people in street, but those who fight with you in a war). and tell us a method and the hidden purpose of jihad. And that is “The war will be lay down its weapons“. a fire to end fire.
These Ayahs are a snap shot of battle field words are very hard but they describe a war.
